Deck overview

This is a Golgari +1/+1 counter synergy deck helmed by Jenova, Ancient Calamity. The plan revolves around making Jenova huge (via counters, pump effects, or Ouroboroid), then using her combat trigger to dump a massive number of counters onto another creature, turning it into a Mutant. Those Mutants can then be sacrificed for value (draw from Jenova's death trigger, or outlets like Warren Soultrader, Dina, Essence Brewer, Greater Good). The deck aims to overwhelm with enormous creatures, using recursion (Evolution Witness, Eternal Witness, Six) and counter doublers (Hardened Scales, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal, Michelangelo, Weirdness to 11) to snowball. Secondary win conditions include Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's fling effect, Essence Harvest, and Walking Ballista as a mana sink.
