Beorn BEARRRRRS by user8701296

Format: Commander

Commander: Beorn the Fierce

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce leads a mono-green Bear-stompy deck. The primary plan is to accelerate into Beorn, make three or more Bears before combat, and turn his combat trigger into two cards per turn while +2/+2 pumps the wide board. Secondary paths include big-mana Selvala draws, haste from Surrak and Goreclaw, and overrun-style finishers such as Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Return of the Wildspeaker. Beorn is both the card-draw engine and the anthem; Beorn, Reluctant Host is a supporting extra-land Bear, not a hidden commander. The deck wins by swinging with trampling Bears, often in one large turn, with Temur Sabertooth/Selvala/Gigantic Big Bear providing a mana/draw engine rather than a true infinite line.
