Deck overview

This mono-red deck is commanded by Urabrask // The Great Work, combining a spellslinger burn strategy with Phyrexian oil-counter synergies. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap 1- and 2-mana burn spells and cantrips to generate mana refunds and direct damage via Urabrask, then transforming him into The Great Work. The Saga clears opposing utility creatures, produces Treasure ramp, and unlocks a massive graveyard-casting turn on Chapter III. Secondary win conditions include aggressive token generation from Urabrask's Forge, doubled burn damage from Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, and flashback triggers from Burning Vengeance. The deck features solid single-target creature removal but carries inherent weaknesses in enchantment interaction, prolonged Saga exposure, and limited stack protection.
