Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Dragon Stompy engine commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana rapidly during the early turns using efficient ramp spells and cost-reducing shamans. On Turn 5, the deck casts Ureni, using its enter-the-battlefield ability to look eight cards deep and cheat an apex Dragon onto the battlefield. Subsequent attack triggers cheat additional massive flying creatures into play, snowballing an overwhelming aerial army. Synergies like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm and Atarka, World Render double the power of the Dragon armada, while Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy provide immediate haste and card flow. The deck also harbors an infinite token interaction between Ganax, Astral Hunter and Draconic Visitor. Although vulnerable to sweepers and commander tax, Ureni provides immense card velocity and board presence that can close out four-player pods in two combat rotations.
