Deck overview

This is a Jeskai Equipment Voltron deck helmed by Captain America, First Avenger, built around equipping high-mana-value equipment and using his throw ability to deal lethal damage. The deck leans heavily on a dense equipment package (over 20 pieces) to provide both utility and damage output, with a secondary combat plan supported by extra-combat effects like Godo, Bandit Warlord and The Spear of Leonidas. The commander's catch trigger at combat reattaches equipment for free, enabling repeat throws. The primary win condition is stacking high-MV equipment on Captain America, then activating his throw multiple times in a turn to divide damage among opponents. Backup lines involve combat damage from the commander or other legendary creatures (e.g., Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Lightning, Army of One) equipped with evasion and power boosters. The deck is highly tutor-dependent, running several equipment tutors (Steelshaper's Gift, Open the Armory, Cloud) to find its key payloads.
