Deck overview

This deck is a Temur Mutate Stompy list commanded by Illuna, Apex of Wishes. It focuses on accelerating mana in the early turns using efficient land-granting sorceries and mana creatures, then deploying a low-cost non-Human host. On Turn 4, it casts Illuna for its mutate cost to trigger an immediate top-deck cheat that puts a massive permanent directly onto the battlefield. From there, the deck transitions into a rapid combat clock utilizing heavy-hitting Dinosaurs and scaling token generators like Quartzwood Crasher, Tyrranax Rex, and Giant Adephage. It compounds this advantage with copy effects such as Rite of Replication, Double Major, and Doppelgang. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game deployment and solid commander independence, its reliance on combat damage and limited instant-speed stack interaction leaves it susceptible to well-timed board wipes and disruption directed at mutate targets.
