Deck overview

This Sultai Elf/Faerie tribal deck, commanded by Maralen, Fae Ascendant, is a value-engine build that aims to flood the battlefield with cheap creatures and then use Maralen's ETB trigger to exile the top two cards of an opponent's library. Once each turn, she lets you cast one of those exiled cards for free as long as you have enough Elves and Faeries on board. The primary plan is to generate incremental card advantage through exiling opposition spells and then deploying them without paying mana, eventually overwhelming opponents with a mix of their own cards and the deck's tribal synergy pieces like Moon-Vigil Adherents and Gloom Ripper. Secondary win conditions include board-copying with Doppelgang, mass recursion via Bloodine Bidding, and life-drain from Dawnhand Eulogist. The deck leans heavily on its commander for its central engine, and lacks fast mana or compact combos.
