Deck overview

This deck is a high-tier competitive Esper midrange and stax shell commanded by Tivit, Seller of Secrets. The primary game plan seeks to leverage fast mana and early disruptive stax pieces—such as Drannith Magistrate, Cursed Totem, and Damping Sphere—to slow opposing fast combo decks while generating massive card and mana advantage through engines like Rhystic Study, Esper Sentinel, and Smothering Tithe. Once control of the board is secured, the deck resolves a silence effect such as Grand Abolisher or Silence and combines Tivit with Time Sieve to take infinite extra turns, dealing lethal commander damage to every opponent. Alternatively, the deck can pivot smoothly into the compact Thassa's Oracle plus Demonic Consultation or Tainted Pact win condition. Backed by a premier free counterspell suite, the deck exerts crushing interactive pressure while threatening protected combo finishes.
