Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls by lJony

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos group-slug deck wins by stacking small life-loss triggers until opponents run out of life. Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls rewards every first life loss on each opponent's turn with a +1/+1 counter and a card, turning pingers into draw. The board fills with enchantments and creatures like Mogis, God of Slaughter, Sulfuric Vortex, Spiteful Visions, and Blood Artist that deal 1-2 damage repeatedly. No infinite combo exists; damage accumulates through upkeep triggers, death triggers, and spell-punish effects. Valgavoth grows large but rarely attacks for lethal. The deck controls the board with cheap removal and board wipes while drawing off forced life loss.
