Deck overview

Noctis, Prince of Lucis supports an artifact-heavy Equipment deck by letting the pilot cast artifacts from the graveyard at the cost of three life. The main plan is to develop artifact permanents, use Cloud, Midgar Mercenary, Stonehewer Giant, and Danitha, Benalia's Hope to access Equipment, then build a large attacker. Genji Glove is especially valuable because it gives double strike and an additional combat, while Excalibur, Sword of Eden, Machinist's Arsenal, and Aettir and Priwen provide major power increases. The deck has useful protection and interaction, including Padeem, Consul of Innovation, Mithril Coat, Swiftfoot Boots, Counterspell, and Dovin's Veto. Its main limits are a slow, tapped-heavy mana base, expensive equipment costs, dependence on combat, and a lack of a compact table-ending route. It is best suited to slower casual or mid-power games where incremental artifact value and combat rewards matter.
