Deck overview

This Sultai midrange deck is built around Rayami, First of the Fallen, turning creature deaths into permanent keyword enhancements. By deploying low-cost creatures featuring hexproof, indestructible, deathtouch, and evasion, the deck feeds Rayami through sacrifice outlets and combat trades to craft an unkillable, untargetable Voltron threat. Simultaneously, Rayami's passive exile ability acts as a continuous graveyard hate engine, shutting down opposing dies triggers and reanimation strategies. The deck supports this aggressive Voltron plan with a brutal creature control suite, including Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Archfiend of Depravity, and Maha, Its Feathers Night paired with sweepers like Toxic Deluge. High-value tutors like Birthing Pod and Eldritch Evolution ensure consistent access to keyword donors or standalone bombs such as Sire of Seven Deaths and Toxrill, the Corrosive. While sequential commander combat requires multiple turns to close out the table, Rayami's built-in protections and overwhelming board suppression establish an unassailable late-game position.
