Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue spellslinger storm strategy commanded by Geist of Saint Thalia. By deploying the commander on Turn 2, the deck immediately discounts all noncreature spells by one generic mana. It leverages this discount alongside redundant cost reducers like Sapphire Medallion and Baral, Chief of Compliance to cast cheap cantrips, draw cards, and sculpt a lethal hand. The primary victory condition revolves around assembling a storm turn via High Tide, Turnabout, and Mind's Desire, culminating in an Aetherflux Reservoir deployment that eliminates all three opponents on Turn 6 in a single turn. Backup lines utilize token generators such as Talrand, Sky Summoner and Shark Typhoon to construct a flying army. The deck protects its setup using a dense package of efficient counterspells, though it struggles against resolved noncreature permanents.
