Deck overview

This Selesnya deck is a synergistic Food-based creature combo and big-mana strategy helmed by Samwise Gamgee. The deck capitalizes on cheap mana dorks and Food token generators to fuel explosive mana production, sustained historic recursion, and creature tutoring. Its primary path to victory is assembling the two-card infinite combo of Rosie Cotton of South Lane and Scurry Oak, which creates unbounded 1/1 Squirrel creature tokens and an arbitrarily large attacker on Turn 4. If the combo is interrupted or removed, the deck smoothly transitions into a formidable big-mana midrange plan, turning its artifact tokens into mana with Jaheira, Friend of the Forest or Night of the Sweets' Revenge to cast game-ending threats like Finale of Devastation, Apex Devastator, and colossal Eldrazi.
