Format: Commander

Commander: Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow commands an aggressive tempo deck centered on combat manipulation, unblockable attackers, and high-damage group burn. The game plan opens with inexpensive, evasive creatures like Changeling Outcast and Mist-Cloaked Herald to guarantee combat connections. In combat, you activate commander ninjutsu to cheat Yuriko into play, bypassing the commander tax entirely. Each unblocked Ninja triggers Yuriko, revealing the top card of the library to draw gas and deal equal damage to every opponent. Topdeck manipulators like Brainstorm and Lim-Dul's Vault stack massive spells such as Shadow of Mortality and Treasure Cruise, rapidly burning out the entire table while counterspells protect the board.
