Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain tribal deck helmed by Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, built around a discard-and-connive engine. The primary game plan is to use looting spells, connive triggers, and the commander's combat ability to fill the graveyard while draining opponents for each land discarded. The deck leverages the mayhem mechanic and several recursion pieces to replay key Villains from the yard, generating incremental value through token creation, life loss, and card advantage. Win conditions include grinding out opponents with the Drain from Doctor Doom, King of Latveria (discarding lands) and Cool but Rude's level-2 burn, combined with combat damage from a growing army of evasive or token Villains. Doom Reigns Supreme and Glorious Purpose can provide explosive free-spell turns, but the overall pace is midrange, aiming to control the board with spot removal and a pair of board wipes while the discard/draw loop churns to victory.
