Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is commanded by Kambal, Profiteering Mayor and turns symmetrical 'token gift' effects into a compounding asymmetric drain engine. By utilizing cards like Generous Gift, Slaughter Specialist, Hunted Horror, and Genesis Chamber, the deck forces tokens onto opponents' battlefields, triggering Kambal to create tapped copies while draining each opponent for every token entering your control. Passive disruption such as Authority of the Consuls and Blind Obedience mitigates the drawback of giving opponents creatures by forcing them to enter tapped. Meanwhile, draw engines like Caretaker's Talent and Tocasia's Welcome keep resources flowing. The deck culminates in decisive turns via Alliance of Arms, Mirkwood Bats, or Massacre Wurm, which weaponize the massive token population across the board to wipe opposing life totals. While the deck lacks countermagic and hard tutors, its dense functional redundancy and efficient removal make it a resilient and continuous threat.
