Format: Commander

Commander: Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a five-color Hero tribal deck that wins by building a wide board of legendary Heroes and attacking. Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. is the engine, not the finisher. You cast him for {W} and use his power-up {W}{U}{B}{R}{G} (discounted to {U}{B}{R}{G} the turn he enters) to look at seven and cheat a Hero, Equipment, or Vehicle into play, transforming double-faced Heroes like Bruce Banner, Eddie Brock, and Miles Morales to their stronger back faces for free. Secondary paths use anthems and +1/+1 counters to grow the team. Director Nick Fury and Avengers Quinjet act as hidden commanders that provide the cost reduction and card flow the deck needs when the commander is absent.
