Revenge by NIghtPaladin616

Format: Commander

Commander: Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls is a Rakdos group-slug engine: every opponent's first life loss each turn draws a card and grows him. The deck's primary plan is to deploy symmetrical draw/life-loss enchantments and creatures, then cash in on those triggers. The main win line is an infinite Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin loop enabled by Everlasting Torment and All Will Be One; Peer into the Abyss with any draw-punisher is a clean alternative, and Repercussion plus Blasphemous Act/Chandra's Ignition provides a board-based finish. The commander is an accelerant, not the central combo piece; there is no double-faced or hidden commander.
