Deck overview

This deck is a five-color synergy build centered on Karn, Gilded Guardian and an extensive suite of clone and copy effects. Because Karn is a five-color artifact creature, any clone entering the battlefield as a copy of Karn sees the original five-color artifact and triggers its enter-the-battlefield ability to draw five cards. The deck leverages over twenty clone spells and token duplicators—such as Phyrexian Metamorph, Flesh Duplicate, Molten Duplication, and Saheeli, the Sun's Brilliance—to continually refill the hand with massive card bursts. These drawn resources are converted into pressure via hand-size-scaling beaters and drain engines like Psychosis Crawler, Body of Knowledge, and Masumaro, First to Live. Supported by an efficient suite of counterspells and exile removal, the deck overcomes tapped tri-land mana friction to establish overwhelming board presence and table-wide burn by the mid-game.
