Deck overview

This Selesnya Stax Combo deck piloted by Saffi Eriksdotter blends fast creature-based combo finishes with an oppressive suite of hatebears and proactive silence effects. The primary game plan accelerates early mana using dorks and rocks, slows opponents down with asymmetric tax pieces like Drannith Magistrate and Archon of Emeria, and tutors for protection before executing an infinite loop. The primary win line pairs Saffi with a sacrifice outlet such as Blasting Station, Altar of Dementia, or Phyrexian Altar alongside a recursive creature like Loyal Retainers, Renegade Rallier, or Karmic Guide. Alternatively, the deck can generate infinite mana using Devoted Druid enchanted by Swift Reconfiguration to fire off a lethal Walking Ballista or massive Finale of Devastation. Protected by an unrivaled suite of tutorable silence creatures including Grand Abolisher, Ranger-Captain of Eos, and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar, the deck executes same-turn table kills while completely denying opposing interaction.
