Deck overview

This deck is a high-power mono-red group-slug and burn strategy commanded by Solphim, Mayhem Dominus. The primary objective is to accelerate mana rapidly and deploy Solphim alongside asymmetric damage enhancers and punitive triggers. By doubling all noncombat damage dealt to opponents and their permanents, Solphim turns symmetrical burn spells, draw punishers, and ability taxes into lethal threats while breaking parity in your favor. The deck achieves critical onset around Turn 4 by resolving Heartless Hidetsugu or stacking massive damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and City on Fire. Untapping with Hidetsugu while Solphim is on the battlefield allows an immediate table kill, dealing 40 noncombat damage to each opponent at full health.
