Commander: Itazura, Lingering Wick

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Itazura, Lingering Wick is a red-blue chaos-value commander that turns every upkeep into card advantage and political burn. The primary plan is to stack upkeep triggers with Paradox Haze, using Itazura to exile cards and draw from them while Descent into Avernus acts as a table-wide damage clock. Secondary paths include cast-from-exile synergies with Nalfeshnee, The Twelfth Doctor, and Wild-Magic Sorcerer, plus clone effects that copy Itazura or larger creatures like Kitsune for a combat finish. There is no hidden commander; the real engine cards are Descent into Avernus and Paradox Haze, and the deck wins through accumulated damage rather than a deterministic combo.
