Deck overview

This is a Dimir Zombie tribal deck helmed by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver, built around the sacrifice-and-recur engine the commander provides. The primary game plan is to generate a wide board of Zombie tokens, repeatedly sacrifice them for value (card draw, ETB triggers, drain effects), and overwhelm opponents through incremental life loss, combat damage, or a compact infinite combo. The commander's end-step activation turns each Zombie death into a card drawn, while his decayed-token creation replaces creatures that die without decayed. The deck leans heavily on classic Zombie synergies: lords, token makers, graveyard recursion, and the "Dark Servant" drain package. The main infinite line is Gravecrawler + Rooftop Storm + a sacrifice outlet (Grimgrin, Corpse-Born) + a drain effect (Diregraf Captain, Vengeful Dead, Bastion of Remembrance). Secondary wins come from a massive token swarm boosted by Necroduality and Endless Ranks of the Dead, or from a single large Empty the Laboratory.
