Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius go-wide aggro engine commanded by Bard, Heir of Girion, blending Human and Knight tribal synergies with token generation and stacking anthem buffs. The game plan establishes early board presence with low-cost creatures and mana rocks, deploys the commander on Turn 4, and leverages Bard's attack trigger to draw cards while boosting team power. Token engines like Adeline, Resplendent Cathar and Hero of Bladehold rapidly expand the board, while powerful static anthems from Flowering of the White Tree, Inspiring Leader, and Cathars' Crusade scale small tokens into lethal threats. Critical onset arrives on Turn 6, presenting a massive combat force that closes out the game by Turn 8 using evasion from Herald of Hoofbeats or Archetype of Imagination. The deck relies entirely on fair combat damage, making it vulnerable to sweepers while maintaining strong functional redundancy and independent backup lines throughout the 99.
