Deck overview

This mono-red combat deck leverages Samut, Hazoret's Champion in the command zone to provide universal, static haste for just two mana. By eliminating summoning sickness across the entire 99, the deck transforms expensive red bombs, extra-combat creatures, and combat-damage triggers into immediate threats the turn they enter the battlefield. The strategy focuses on accelerating through early mana rocks and Treasure generators like Ragavan, Nimble Pilferer and Professional Face-Breaker, deploying Samut on Turn 2, and quickly transitioning into oppressive combat threats such as Karlach, Fury of Avernus, Port Razer, and Bloodthirster. Damage amplifiers like Gratuitous Violence and Twinflame Tyrant exponentially scale combat output, allowing chained combat phases to eliminate opponents in rapid succession. To protect its aggressive curve, the deck runs a specialized package of low-cost and free target-redirection spells, including Deflecting Swat and Bolt Bend. While vulnerable to mass exile or sweepers, its speed and redundant threat suite make it a relentless combat juggernaut.
