Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange strategy built around Toph, the First Metalbender. It animates lands and nontoken artifacts into resilient, aggressive creatures using the Earthbend mechanic. By turning artifacts into lands, Toph broadens the targets available for land animation and Landfall triggers. The deck curves into commander deployment on Turn 4, immediately generating a 2/2 hasty land creature at the end step. In the midgame, mass pump and counter engines like Bumi, Eclectic Earthbender, Badgermole, Evolution Sage, and Bumi, Unleashed grow these lands into massive trampling threats. Because Earthbent lands automatically return to the battlefield tapped if they die or are exiled, the deck shrugs off traditional creature sweepers while retaining its mana base. The deck wins by overpowering opponents through multi-combat attack steps and heavy trample damage between Turns 6 and 8.
