Teysa Karlov by chestnut

Format: Commander

Commander: Teysa Karlov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a highly synergistic Orzhov Aristocrats strategy helmed by Teysa Karlov. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap creatures, sacrifice outlets, and passive drain payoffs like Blood Artist or Zulaport Cutthroat. By sacrificing creatures, the deck generates incremental value, controls the board, and drains opponents' life totals. Teysa Karlov acts as a massive value multiplier, doubling all death triggers to accelerate card draw, token generation, and life drain. While the deck can win through a war of attrition and doubled death triggers, its primary paths to victory are infinite loops utilizing graveyard recursion. The deck is incredibly resilient, treating the graveyard as a second hand, and functions seamlessly even if the commander is removed.
