Deck overview

This Jeskai deck pairs Kratos, Stoic Father and Atreus, Impulsive Son to execute a focused God-tribal aggro and experience counter strategy. Kratos rewards attacking with Gods by accumulating permanent experience counters, which he converts into end-step +1/+1 counters. Atreus weaponizes those same counters to draw cards, filter resources, and burn all opponents simultaneously. The 99 supports this core loop with high-stat legendary Gods, indestructible beaters, and proliferate spells that accelerate counter growth. By Turns 5 and 6, the deck achieves high card velocity and deploys massive combat threats such as Otharri, Suns' Glory and God-Eternal Oketra. Evasion enablers like Iroas, God of Victory and Wonder push lethal damage through congested boards. While the deck relies on combat damage and carries standard creature vulnerability, the permanent nature of experience counters grants excellent recovery against opposing sweepers.
