Deck overview

This deck is a synergistic Golgari midrange build commanded by Blech, Loafing Pest. Its primary strategy focuses on assembling a low-to-the-ground board of Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders, then using repeated incremental lifegain triggers to distribute +1/+1 counters across the entire kindred team. The deck generates board presence through efficient token makers like Pest Summoning and Arasta of the Endless Web, while enablers like Kazandu Nectarpot, Bogwater Lumaret, and Shopkeeper's Bane reliably trigger Blech's ability each turn. The deck features a robust removal suite including Windgrace's Judgment and Maelstrom Pulse to clear opposing obstacles, alongside solid graveyard recursion via Raise the Draugr and Honest Rutstein to rebuild after removal. However, it relies heavily on combat damage over multiple turn rotations and lacks instant-speed board protection or countermagic, leaving it vulnerable to mass board sweepers.
