Tom, Bert & William by masi10hsb

Commander: Tom, Bert, and William

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari midrange sacrifice-and-stompy deck helmed by Tom, Bert, and William. The plan is to ramp into oversized creatures, convert their power into cards via sacrifice outlets, then close through combat, drain, and direct-damage payoffs. The commander is a repeatable sac outlet that turns a big body into a fresh grip (draw equal to power, then discard one) and awkwardly self-recurs as an artifact when it dies. The 99 backs this up with classic reanimation (Reanimate, Animate Dead, Necromancy), power doublers (Unnatural Growth, Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus), death payoffs (Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord, Syr Konrad, the Grim, The Skullspore Nexus), and efficient beaters (Yargle and Multani, Ghalta, Primal Hunger, Rotting Regisaur). There are no clean infinite combo lines; the deck wins by grinding value and converting enormous power into life-total pressure.
