Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking is a Sultai graveyard-toolbox deck. It mills Elf cards into the graveyard and uses Thranduil's ability to borrow their activated abilities, most importantly Lluwen's worm production. The deck then wins by swarming with Worms, using Mirkwood Bats to drain, and pumping with Thranduil's Company and Wilderland Scrounger. Lluwen, Exchange Student, Buried Alive, and Disciple of Deceit set up the graveyard, while Notion Rain and Madame Web keep the hand full. Secondary paths include Treasure/sacrifice value from The Sackville-Bagginses and recursion via Trystan's Command or Rise Again. Thranduil is the engine, so keeping him untapped and on the battlefield is essential; the deck also needs ready answers to graveyard hate.
