Deck overview

This mono-black deck is led by Seizan, Perverter of Truth, focusing on a group slug attrition strategy that forces symmetric card draw while punishing opponents for drawing and discarding. The game plan relies on deploying mana rocks in the early turns, establishing damage triggers like Megrim, Liliana's Caress, or Underworld Dreams, and then casting Seizan to accelerate the table's card velocity into painful triggers. Heavy discard spells such as Delirium Skeins and Awaken the Erstwhile, paired with punishing enchantments like Oppression and Painful Quandary, systematically tax opposing resources. While the deck boasts extensive creature removal and consistent card draw, it operates without infinite combos, winning through a prolonged bleed clock across many turns. Its greatest vulnerabilities stem from gifting opponents extra cards, giving them resources to dismantle your board.
