Deck overview

This deck is a Naya midrange strategy centered on Wayta, Trainer Prodigy, designed to weaponize enrage triggers and spite-damage redirection. By utilizing Wayta's discounted fight ability and trigger-doubling static effect, the deck repeatedly damages its own creatures to generate card advantage, ramp lands, create token armies, and direct massive burn at opposing life totals. The creature suite features extensive redundancy, ranging from early utility pieces like Ripjaw Raptor and Hornet Nest to high-end closers such as Wrathful Raptors, Polyraptor, and Apex Altisaur. In addition to fair combat and attrition lines, the list includes compact infinite damage loops with Guilty Conscience and Blazing Sunsteel paired with indestructible redirectors like Brash Taunter and Phyrexian Vindicator. While the deck controls creature-heavy battlefields with ease and recovers quickly due to Wayta's natural haste, its lack of nonland tutors and stack interaction makes it vulnerable to fast combo strategies and noncreature permanents.
