Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Grixis spellslinger and storm combo deck commanded by Fire Lord Azula. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana on turns 1 and 2 with artifacts and rituals, then deploying Fire Lord Azula or tutoring directly for the Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal infinite combo. When Azula attacks, firebending generates two red mana while her trigger copies every instant spell cast during combat. This turns rituals like Seething Song and copy spells like Reiterate into instant-speed infinite mana and infinite damage engines. The deck protects its win attempts with top-tier free interaction including Force of Will, Fierce Guardianship, and Deflecting Swat. Card advantage powerhouses like The One Ring, Rhystic Study, and Archmage Emeritus keep the hand full. Even without the commander, the deck easily pivots to standalone artifact loops or Displacer Kitten lines to close the game on turn 4.
