Self inflicting dmg Token Dragon by mavado

Format: Commander

Commander: Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Vrondiss, Rage of Ancients commands a Gruul Dragon stompy deck built to convert direct damage and combat presence into lethal pressure. The primary game plan revolves around casting Vrondiss, granting him indestructible, and abusing direct damage engines to generate large swaths of 5/4 Dragon Spirit creature tokens. A powerful suite of pingers and damage-triggers, such as Terror of the Peaks, Scourge of Valkas, and Dragon Tempest, turn each token generation into an immediate burn effect. Secondary win conditions involve overwhelming the table through evasive Dragon beatdown empowered by double strike and damage multipliers like Atarka, World Render and Thrakkus the Butcher, or achieving infinite ping loops via Blazing Sunsteel.
