Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Superfriends midrange build led by Jared Carthalion. Its game plan focuses on establishing a wide board of loyalty planeswalkers, creating creature tokens, and compounding their power with +1/+1 counters and loyalty multiplication. Jared provides a steady 3/3 five-color Kavu token that grows rapidly into an 8/8 trampler via his -3 ability. The 99 features deep redundancy across Ajani, Elspeth, and Gideon variants, supported by counter engines such as Doubling Season, The Chain Veil, and Ichormoon Gauntlet. The deck excels at accumulating incremental value and presenting wide combat boards. Its main vulnerabilities stem from a tap-land heavy mana base, an absence of instant-speed stack interaction, and high exposure to board wipes that target planeswalkers or creature swarms.
