Deck overview

This deck executes a focused Gruul ramp-and-stomp strategy piloted by Ruby, Daring Tracker. Ruby guarantees a Turn 2 mana dork in the command zone, designed specifically to cast four-mana double-land ramp spells like Skyshroud Claim, Circuitous Route, and Explosive Vegetation on Turn 3. This mana velocity propels the deck to six or seven mana on Turn 4, enabling rapid deployment of massive creature threats such as Vaultborn Tyrant, Etali, Primal Conqueror, and Railway Brawler. By Turn 5, combat multipliers like Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus, Atarka, World Render, and Craterhoof Behemoth present lethal trample damage across the table. While the deck boasts immense recovery against board wipes due to its resilient land base, it possesses minimal instant-speed interaction and defensive shielding, making it vulnerable to fast combo decks and well-timed removal.
