Format: Commander

Commander: Ellie, Brick Master and Joel, Resolute Survivor

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Ellie and Joel form a Jund token-aristocrats engine. Ellie rewards every attack against one of your opponents with a tapped 1/1 Cordyceps Zombie, while Joel turns token deaths into card draw and a steadily growing menace. The primary plan is to flood the board with Squirrel, Frog, and Zombie tokens, sacrifice them for value, and finish with drain effects or the Pitiless Plunderer + Chatterfang/Quina + Goblin Bombardment loop. Goad cards are a secondary path that keeps opponents from attacking you. There is no hidden commander; the two faces of this partner pair complement each other, with Ellie enabling tokens and Joel supplying the card advantage.
