Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Villain tribal connive deck that wins through incremental combat damage and drain. Doctor Doom, King of Latveria acts as a drain engine when you discard lands and as a repeatable connive trigger at the start of combat, growing a single Villain each turn. The board fills with Villains that reward connive and discard - counters, tokens, and extra draws - and then attacks with a wide, tall board. A secondary infinite loop with Ashnod's Altar, Prowler, Clawed Thief and Ultron, Unlimited exists but costs about 13 mana and needs all three pieces, so the normal win is combat. Loki, the Deceiver functions as a hidden commander for card draw and extra attackers.
