Deck overview

This is a five-color Horror tribal deck helmed by Morophon, the Boundless, using its cost-reduction ability to deploy a dense army of Horrors for a heavily discounted price. The primary game plan is to ramp early, resolve cost reducers like Urza's Incubator or Herald's Horn, cast Morophon to make most Horrors nearly free, then overwhelm opponents with superior board presence. The deck also features a mill-and-steal subtheme through Captain N'ghathrod, Zellix, Sanity Flayer, Brainstealer Dragon, and Elder Brain, which can accelerate the clock by using opponents' cards. Secondary win conditions include draining life via Ancient Cellarspawn and leveraging Collective Inferno to double damage from Horrors. The strategy is linear and battle-cruiser oriented, aiming to outvalue opponents through recursion and card draw engines like Kindred Discovery and Garruk's Uprising.
