Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet Spellslinger Storm deck commanded by Vivi Ornitier. Vivi serves as both a table-wide burn outlet and a massive burst mana engine, gaining +1/+1 counters and pinging each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, then converting that accumulated power into colored mana with a {0} activation. The deck accelerates through the opening turns with 2-CMC cost reducers like Baral, Chief of Compliance and Stormcatch Mentor, deploying Vivi on Turn 3. On Turn 4, attaching Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to Vivi draws three cards per spell cast because Vivi deals damage to all three opponents individually. This triggers an overwhelming storm loop supported by cheap rituals, cantrips, and magecraft engines, closing out the game immediately through direct burn, Aetherflux Reservoir, or Grapeshot. A deep suite of free countermagic and proactive tax artifacts like Defense Grid shield the combo turn.
