Villanosos by SapoWacho

Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Grixis Villain-tribal midrange list that converts connive and discard into a growing, evasive board and a trickle of table-wide life loss. Doctor Doom, King of Latveria is a four-mana engine: land discards drain each opponent for 2, and every combat he gives a Villain menace and a connive. The 99 is stacked with legendary Villains that connive themselves, spit out 2/1 menace tokens, or pay you for pitching cards, plus a mayhem package that recasts what you discard. There are no infinite combos. You win by attacking with a lord-backed Villain army-often after a one-sided Kindred Dominance-while Doctor Doom, King of Latveria, Kang, Temporal Tyrant, Doom Reigns Supreme, and Criminal Enterprise chip the table. Marchesa, the Black Rose and Thunderbolts Conspiracy keep the board coming back. Doom is the best repeatable connive and the only land-discard drain, but the tribal combat plan still functions if he is answered.
