Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green poison strategy commanded by Fynn, the Fangbearer. It utilizes an exceptionally dense suite of low-cost deathtouch creatures to inflict poison counters on opponents, effectively reducing their starting health buffer from 40 life to 10 poison counters. The standard execution curves a 1-drop deathtoucher into a Turn 2 Fynn, triggering poison attacks immediately. By Turn 3, opponents face critical combat pressure. The midgame is reinforced with trample and evasion enablers like Primal Rage, Canopy Cover, and Bellowing Tanglewurm to push combat damage past blockers, alongside bite spells like Infectious Bite that double as removal and poison delivery. Proliferate engines and high-end toxic threats like Bloated Contaminator and Tyrranax Rex ensure the deck can close out games even if the initial swarm is blunted. While vulnerable to creature sweepers, Fynn sets a fast, linear clock that forces defensive play from the opening turns.
