Deck overview

This Temur deck leverages Bruce Banner // The Incredible Hulk as a dynamic combat engine that converts self-inflicted damage into chained extra combat phases and lethal commander damage. In the early game, the deck establishes mana velocity using low-cost mana rocks, land ramp, and cost reducers like Goblin Anarchomancer and Marauding Raptor. Bruce Banner deploys on turn 1 for a single blue mana, transforming into the formidable 8/8 The Incredible Hulk on turn 4–5 either through his activated ability or ahead of schedule via Moonmist. Once Hulk attacks, on-demand damage sources such as Cunning Sparkmage, Prodigal Pyromancer, and fight spells trigger his Enrage ability, untapping him and generating additional combat phases. Power doublers like Xenagos, God of Revels scale Hulk to lethal thresholds within two combats. Robust backup beaters including Polyraptor and Red Hulk ensure continuous board pressure even if the commander is removed.
