Deck overview

Sephiroth is a mono-black sacrifice/aristocrats deck. The front face is an early, cheap sacrifice-to-draw engine; the back face attacks, creates a death-drain emblem, and turns attackers into card draw. The primary win line is the Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond life-loss loop. The secondary route is a sacrifice engine using Phyrexian Altar, Ashnod's Altar, and Reassembling Skeleton to generate mana, treasure, and death triggers, then convert them to drain or mill. Reanimation spells like Living Death and Rise of the Dark Realms turn board-wipes into finishing strokes. Braids, Arisen Nightmare acts as an effective hidden commander in the 99; otherwise the deck is built around its own dying creatures.
