Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari Wolf tribal aggro-midrange build commanded by Chief of the Wilds. The primary game plan establishes an early mana foundation using land ramp and cost reducers before casting the commander on Turn 4. From there, the deck floods the battlefield with Wolf creatures and tokens using generators like Hollowhenge Overlord, Chief Warg's Company, and Nightpack Ambusher. As Wolves enter, Chief of the Wilds rapidly grows into a massive menace threat while doubling the value of all native Wolf triggered abilities. Card flow is sustained through combat triggers and entry effects such as Garruk's Uprising and The Chief Warg. The deck converts its wide board into a definitive victory around Turn 6 or 7 using mass overrun effects like Overwhelming Stampede, Triumph of the Hordes, and Unnatural Growth.
