Commander: Braids, Conjurer Adept

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Braids, Conjurer Adept leads a mono-blue sea-monster deck that skips mana costs rather than racing to them. The primary plan is to resolve Braids or a hand-based cheat effect, then put one huge Kraken or Leviathan into play each upkeep. Opponents also get free permanents, but this deck's creatures are far more impactful, and it can later establish an evasion stack with Stormtide Leviathan, Serpent of Yawning Depths, and Archetype of Imagination that makes them nearly unblockable. Secondary paths are Quicksilver Amulet, Show and Tell, and Quest for Ula's Temple. The commander is the main enabler but not a combo engine, and no hidden commander or alternate face exists; the deck is a straightforward tempo-cheat beatdown.
