Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue control build designed to maximize Jin-Gitaxias and its transformed Saga face, The Great Synthesis. The strategy focuses on early mana acceleration and efficient card draw to cast the commander on turn 4 with a full hand of seven or more cards. On turn 5, the commander transforms into The Great Synthesis, immediately doubling the pilot's hand size and removing the maximum hand limit. Proliferate engines such as Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Flux Channeler, and Steady Progress accelerate the Saga's lore counters, while Chapter II provides a one-sided bounce against non-Phyrexian creatures. Upon reaching Chapter III, the deck casts its entire hand for free, executing an overwhelming finish with Enter the Infinite, Omniscience, Time Stretch, and Psychosis Crawler. A dense suite of countermagic and defensive spells protects this engine throughout its setup and execution.
