Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai spellslinger strategy centered on legendary Wizard tribal synergies and commander Gandalf, Party Guest. The primary game plan curves out with efficient legendary Wizards on early turns to provide card selection, cost reduction, and mana acceleration. Once Gandalf enters the battlefield on Turn 4, his combat trigger allows casting high-mana-value instant and sorcery spells directly from hand without paying their mana costs, scaling with twice the number of legendary Wizards controlled. On Turn 5, the deck presents must-answer board states by cheating decisive spells such as Surge to Victory, Call Forth the Tempest, Aminatou's Augury, or Insurrection.
