Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red aggressive stax deck commanded by Slicer, Hired Muscle. The strategy accelerates Slicer onto the battlefield on Turn 1 or 2 using low-cost rituals and artifact ramp. Once deployed for its More Than Meets the Eye cost, Slicer attacks immediately, converts into its double strike form, and passes to each opponent during their upkeeps. Because Slicer is goaded and attacks every turn, it generates four combat steps per table rotation, quickly dealing lethal commander damage across all opponents. To prevent opponents from executing combo wins or removing Slicer, the deck deploys symmetric tax and lock artifacts such as Trinisphere, Blood Moon, Torpor Orb, and Grafdigger's Cage. Slicer breaks parity on these locks because it requires no further mana investment once active. Efficient red interaction and redirection spells protect the commander while the table eliminates itself.
